ORPINGTON: Orpington Photographic Society's Spring Exhibition

The Orpington Photographic Society had over 350 visitors to their 2010 Spring Exhibition during the weekend of March 13th and 14th at Coolings Garden Centre Rushmore Hill Knockholt. On display were more than 200 Monochrome Prints and Colour Slides.

Easter craft

7:01am Friday 19th March 2010

On Saturday March 27 there is an 'Easter Eggy' Family craft day held by Riverview Baptist Fellowship at Whinfell Way scout hall from 2-4pm. Admission is free and includes salt dough, car-marking, painting, free refreshments, homemade cakes and jams for sale, nearly new book and cd stall. There will be a small charge for any craft materials that are used.

Stamp Club

Mr F French will be displaying stamps from the Netherlands at the club on April 9. The club meets at St Paul's URC Church, Singlewell Road from 7.45pm.

CCADS

Christ Church Amateur Dramatic Society rehearsals are in full swing for thier Spring production on April 29 and 30 adn May 1. The play is a two act comedy by Hugh Janes, entitled Two of a Kind. Watch this space for futher news

Railway enthusiasts society

If you are interested in early 20th Century art, you might wish to join a freindly group, which is learning about the artists who painted in this era. There are no forms to fill in or exams to take, just the opportunity to relax and absorb the information. The group meet on a Wednesday evening.
