A TikTok video of England legend David Beckham has gone viral after he was spotted in Welling.

It was not former Manchester United captain David playing, but his son Romeo who was making his debut for Brentford B against Erith and Belvedere at Park View Road.

The video, posted by Rising Ballers, has been viewed more than 1.2 million times on TikTok.

It shows proud dad David as he watched his son play for the first time since signing from Inter Miami on loan.

Romeo played a central role in staging a dramatic comeback as the 20-year-old came on with his side 2-1 down in a game they eventually won 3-2.

The crowd, which consisted of a record 554, was distracted by the England legend and when spotted he was quickly mobbed as fans looked to secure a selfie.

The video also shows David making a quick escape from the rain and the crowd, hopping a fence before running across a field.

Brentford B boss Neil MacFarlane was full of praise following the final whistle.

He said: "He (Romeo) created some really good moments for us with some terrific deliveries.

"He had an opportunity to score as well and I was thrilled with him and the group in general for keeping on the front foot. We never gave up and we got through."
