Police have issued a Section 35 Dispersal Order in Plumstead Common for 24 hours following several incidents involving youths.
At 4:06pm today Greenwich Police tweeted that a Section 35 Dispersal Order will be in place until 3.19pm tomorrow (May 27).
The order comes after “several incidents” happened in the area involving a large number of youths who were attracted to protests, as well as a car accident and fights within large groups of youths.
Met Police have said the order is to “prevent” any further antisocial behaviour or injuries.

Greenwich MPS tweeted: “s35 Dispersal Order Authorised by Inspector Engelbrecht remains in place on this area of PLUMSTEAD COMMON SE18 until 1519 Hours on 27th May 2023. Police Ref CAD5012.
“This is due to several incidents including large numbers of youths attracted to protests, car accident and fights and disorder that have occurred in the large groups of young people gathered.
"This dispersal is intended to prevent any further antisocial behaviour or injuries.”
