THE Lions have demanded a fee in the region of £9 million from clubs that are interested in signing star player Jed Wallace.
The winger has been of interest to multiple clubs including Nottingham Forest and Turkish side Besitkas.
Millwall are determined to keep hold of their talisman for the remainder of the season as he is seen as crucial to a push for the playoffs.
Wallace is out of contract in the summer and some clubs may have thought that he would have been available at a cut-price deal.
Nottingham Forest are reported to have had the strongest interest in the player, with some reports suggesting the Reds have had a couple of bids rejected.
Millwall lost to the Midlands-based side on the weekend due to a late goal from Lewis Grabban, Wallace missed the game through injury.
According to the Daily Express, the Forest will need to stump up £9 million if they are to persuade their play-off rivals to part ways with winger Wallace.
The 27-year-old has made 21 appearances in the Championship this season for the Lions and has scored five goals and assisted six more.
