Elland Road holds no fear for Millwall says Jake Cooper.
Despite Leeds sitting a lofty third in the Championship and chasing automatic promotion, and The Lions currently teetering above the relegation zone, the 24-year-old defender exudes confidence ahead of the tie.
With nine games left to play, including difficult fixtures against Sheffield United, Aston Villa, Stoke and West Brom, Cooper believes the run-in could be a blessing for Neil Harris’ side.
“The better teams we play the better performance we put in,” he said.
“It’s probably better for us to have harder games and back ourselves in tougher situations.
“We go into every game aiming to win, and there’s no reason why we can’t do that starting at Leeds.
“We go and beat teams like Derby and Birmingham away, so there’s no reason why we can’t do that to Leeds.”

Better teams have been to The Den
Leeds United have been praised by many pundits this season with their brand of football under Marcelo Bielsa, but Cooper isn’t so quick to jump on the bandwagon.
“I wouldn’t say they were the best team we’ve played.
“When they came to The Den, maybe their performance wasn’t on point, but we should’ve won that game, we gave away a late goal.
“They weren’t the best team we’ve had at The Den.
“I’d say Sheffield United are the best team to come to ours this season.
“But that said, you can see the class and quality Leeds have got.
“They’re right up there, fighting for promotion.
“We know it’ll be a tough game and we expect a fast tempo game.
“We’ll need to be on top of our game.”
As for the added spice of the ‘Spy-Gate’ saga surrounding Leeds, Cooper joked:
“I don’t think any team needs to spy on us to know what we do!”
