Charlton Athletic have agreed a £2million fee with Huddersfield for the sale of Karlan Grant according to reports.
According to HITC it’s understood the 14-goal forward is undergoing a medical at Huddersfield today.
Grant came through the Addicks academy and despite Lee Bowyer hoping he would see out the remaining six-months of his contract at The Valley, they have reluctantly agreed to the sale to use the funds.
Grant, who missed a penalty in the goalless draw at Peterborough on Saturday, has generated many admirers this season including, West Brom, Rangers, and Brentford but it seems The Terriers have won the race to sign the forward.

Can't understand moving to a team that's going down!! Makes me laugh, see you next season KG. #cafc

KG has just started to come good. I can understand why he wants to move, money+, development, away from Duchatelet. Not sure it is good on a football level as he is not yet premiership level. Not sure even if he is Championship level. Would have better for KG to stay #cafc

He won't keep you in the Prem and to be honest I don't think he'll fire you back into the Prem next season in the Championship however he would of been our 2nd choice striker in the Championship next season as we would aim for mid-table/survive, he is quick though! #Cafc

Wonder what free agents are out there good enough to replace Grant? Coz no way is Roland going to reinvest that money in the squad. #CAFC

Wish Karlen all the best. Under a different owner he may not have even been at the club just like Karl Robinson so hes got a chance and would be stupid not to take it. #CAFC

Huddersfield fans weren’t overly enthusiastic about the signing.
If we sign Grant surely the best bet is to loan him back to Charlton? Let him keep banging them in for them & turn up in July full of confidence rather than draining him of confidence in our current situation. #HTAFC #CAFC

Actually surprised #Htafc are going for Karlan and not someone like Che Adams at Birmingham or someone else in the Championship who have scored 14 odd goals! #Cafc
