Parts of the A2 in Bexley set to close for road works - full details (Image: Archive)
Bexley motorists are set to be faced with a major road closure in Bexley next week.
The closure will be on the A2 between Old Bexley Lane and Bourne Road.
Due to urgent vegetation works, the westbound lane will be closed November 27, 10pm until 5am November 28.
The entry slip road will also be closed during this time.
National Highways suggests that 10 to 30 minute delays are expected.
A diversion is planned via the National Highways network.
National Highways is tasked with maintaining major roads hence any smaller road works won't be included in their schedule.
