London has been facing unseasonably wet and windy conditions, with much of the capital facing heavy downpours of rain.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the wet weather is expected to ease, leading to sunnier and drier spells.

Wednesday

London is expected to be dry and sunny, with temperatures expected to reach up to 25 degrees.

The day is likely to begin with cloud clearing throughout the early morning, with dry and sunny spells expected from 7am until 4pm Some cloud is expected from 5pm throughout the evening, particularly in western parts of London, although no rain is forecast in London for tomorrow.

Thursday

On Thursday, the weather is expected to become warm, with sunny spells expected through the day from 7am until 6pm.

Some cloud is expected in the late evening, but Londoners should expect a largely dry and sunny day on Thursday, with temperatures expected to reach highs of 26 degrees.

Friday

On Friday the weather is expected to remain mostly dry, with some sunny intervals expected in the mid-morning.

Although, Friday is expected to be mainly cloudy for most of the afternoon, and Met Office have warned that some parts of London may experience isolated showers throughout the day.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of up to 24 degrees.
