London Ambulance Service has issued a statement after a stabbing in Abbey Wood.

The service was called at 2.08pm yesterday (July 18) to reports of a stabbing on Harrow Manorway, Abbey Wood.

They sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager to the scene.

A man was treated at the scene for hand and leg injuries before being taken to a major trauma centre as a “priority”.

Police have confirmed that the victim’s condition is not life-threatening but could be life-changing.

A search of the area was carried out and no suspect was located.

An investigation is under way and further enquiries are taking place.
