A woman has died at a house in East Rochester Way following welfare concerns.

Today, (May 13) at 3:46pm police were called to a home in East Rochester Way in Sidcup.

Emergency services attended the scene and provided first aid.

Despite their efforts the woman, aged in her mid 20s, died at the scene.

Police are working to trace her next of kin.

Police have also said that her death is being treated as unexpected.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 15:46hrs on Saturday, 13 May following concerns for the welfare of an occupant at an address on East Rochester Way in Sidcup.

“Emergency services attended and provided first aid.

"Despite their efforts the woman, aged in her mid-20s, died at the scene.
