A new multi-screen cinema, cafe, coworking space and library is due to open its doors in Sidcup this summer.

Sidcup Storyteller will screen a range of film titles from new releases, family favourites, classic titles, and arthouse specials.

Films such as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny will be shown at the new cinema.

Run by independent company Really Local Group, Sidcup Storyteller has plans to “bring affordable cinema back to the local community”.

To celebrate the opening, they have launched a special pre-opening membership offer for only £45 (for an adult membership) – 10 per cent off the standard price.

The annual membership includes four free film tickets, 15 per cent off film tickets, a free popcorn on your first visit, invites to free member events, and three months free trial of MUBI.

The pre-opening price for a membership will be £45 for an adult (standard price £50) and £36 for a concession’s membership (standard price £40).

Cinema tickets will cost £11.95 (peak) / £8.95 (off peak) for an adult and £6.95 (peak) / £5.95 (off-peak) for a child tickets.

There will be concessions tickets available for over 60s, NHS/Blue Light Card Holders and students and tickets will be priced at £6.50 every Tuesday.
