Councils across south east London have released the places residents can lay flowers or sign the book of condolences.

Bexley

Bexley residents are invited to take flowers to Hall Place and Danson house until Monday, September 19.

Council staff will be at both locations from 9.30am to 5pm to assist with the laying of flowers until the day of the funeral.

Where possible, remove all wrapping from floral tributes before leaving them as it aids the longevity of the flowers and will assist in compositing - which will start between one week and a fortnight after the funeral.

Bromley

Memorial tribute flowers can be laid in an especially designated area of Queens Gardens in Bromley, where the Mayor of Bromley and the Deputy Mayor laid flowers on behalf of the Council and residents.

Residents and visitors laying flowers in Queens Gardens are asked to remove packaging or wrapping from flowers before laying the flowers down, with a bin nearby for this waste if needed.

Books of Condolence are available at the Civic Centre and at the following library locations during opening hours:

• Biggin Hill Memorial Library

• Central Library, Bromley

• Orpington Library

• Beckenham Library

Dartford

The Books of Condolence are available at the Civic Centre, Home Gardens, between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.

Dartford residents are encouraged to leave flowers at the War Memorial beside Dartford Library.

All tributes will be removed one week after the funeral service.

Greenwich

The Queen was a regular visitor to Greenwich with her late husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and Baron Greenwich.

Residents of the borough who would like to pay their respects are encouraged to sign the books of condolence available at Woolwich Town Hall, The Eltham Centre, or The Greenwich Centre.

Lewisham

Lewisham Council have opened the books of condolences for those who wish to pay their respects in The Civic Suite, Catford; Downham Library and the Deptford Lounge.

Lewisham residents who are wanting to leave a floral tribute for Queen Elizabeth II and pay their respects are being directed to the dedicated site at Green Park near Buckingham Palace.
