Police who descended on the Co-Op petrol station in Swanley earlier today have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
Officers from Kent Police responded to a reported disturbance in Station Approach, near to petrol station in High Street, at approximately 12.30pm.
Shortly after, a man was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

An eye-witness said she spotted the Co-Op petrol station in High Street, close to Station Approach, cordoned off with a number of police cars present.
A number of social media reports have described the same scene at the petrol station.
A spokesman for Kent Police has confirmed that both the arrest and the incident at the petrol station are connected.
