Bromley police have warned residents that vulnerable drivers are being asked to pay on-the-spot parking fines by scammers.
A statement read: "Scammers have recently been trying to target vulnerable drivers demanding on-the-spot payments for bogus traffic violations.
"Real parking attendants only give out tickets and don’t take money or card payments from you. See it? Report it."

Bromley Neighbourhood Watch Association also urged vigilance and cited an incident in January where two men approached an elderly disabled woman.
The woman had parked in a disabled bay at Tesco and was told she had been fined and that she could pay via a machine on the spot.
She got in her car and was informed that the fine would be cancelled.
The statement added: "Of course this was wholly untrue, but it may be there are folks targeting the more physically vulnerable with this scam.
"If this is the case, I imagine it will be widely unreported."
Anyone who fears they may have been a victim of such a scam should contact police on 101.
