A limping fox has turned up a week after we reported its paw had been severed in an illegal snare.
A woman in Forest Hill informed The Wildlife Lodge of the horrific sight of the animal's foot being caught in the trap on October 9.
The charity issued an appeal to find the hurt fox amid fears it was probably dead, but thankfully it has now returned to the woman's garden.

The Wildlife Lodge said in a statement: “Though limping, he has started coming back every evening for his chicken dinner.
“He looks in great shape, is full of energy and walking on what remains of his foot. We will be keeping in contact with the homeowner who is monitoring his progress.
“We’re hopeful that he has fought the infection and will make a full recovery.”
At the time of the grim discovery Ruth Thomas, who works for the charity, told News Shopper the fox was on “borrowed time”.
She added that it was an example of the “disgusting things” humans do to animals.
The Wildlife Trust has thanked everyone for their concern and support within the last week.
