Alan Pardew is keen to form a reunion with former Newcastle star Hatem Ben Arfa and bring the Frenchman to Crystal Palace, according to reports in France.

Ben Arfa made 76 league appearances for Newcastle between 2010 and 2015, but was released last winter and signed for Ligue 1 outfit Nice the following day.

The winger has made an impression at the French club, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances as the player has attempted to rejuvenate his career in his native country.

Ben Arfa continues to be linked with an exit, however, and France Football magazine – via Sport Witness – say that a host of European clubs are interested in securing his services.

Turkish clubs Besiktas and Antalyaspor, along with Inter Milan, are mentioned as potential suitors, although Palace have also been named as a team keen to sign the 28-year-old.

Pardew worked with Ben Arfa while the pair were at St James’ Park and is reportedly willing to provide the versatile forward with another chance in the Premier League.
