Crystal Palace’s Scott Dann has been tipped by many pundits as a future England defender – and stats suggest the former Blackburn Rovers star should be in Roy Hodgson’s current squad.
Despite a solid run of performances for the Eagles since moving to south London in 2014, Dann has failed to earn international recognition.
However, according to EA SPORTS Player Performance Index – the official player rating system of the Barclays Premier League – the 28-year-old deserves a slot in the England starting XI.
