ELVIS is back and he’ll be helping charities with a Curryhouse rock in Dartford next month.
Green Spice, in Green Street Green Road, is holding an evening with an Elvis impersonator on October 10 to raise money for Cancer Research and British Heart Foundation.
Owner Sam Islam said: “We are having entertainment by an Elvis impersonator, doing Elvis songs, as well as a special three course meal.
“We do this every year. We have done it since 2002 and it has been fantastic. We get a lot of support from customers and the community.”
And don’t expect to be sat all shook up with a face like a hound dog after the dinner, the food is high quality – Green Spice is regularly shortlisted as one of the best curry houses in the UK.
Last year, Green Spice raised £1,500 for Ellenor Lions Hospice while previous years have also raised thousands for charities including Darent Valley Hospital and Kent Air Ambulance.
Mr Islam said: “We are a local business and we need to support the local charities and local community.”
Tickets cost £23.50 with profits going to charity. Pop in or call 01474 708428.
