From bottomless brunches to garden parties – here’s a roundup of some of the things pubs in Greenwich will be doing for the Coronation weekend.

The Coronation of King Charles III will be taking place on Saturday, May 6 and with the UK getting an extra bank holiday on the following Monday, plenty of us will be looking for things to do during the long weekend.

We’ve put together some of the things that pubs in Greenwich are doing over the Coronation weekend from bottomless brunches, live music, themed food and drink and Coronation screenings.

Here’s a roundup of what you can get up to at some of the pubs in Greenwich over the Coronation weekend:

Coach and Horses

The Coach and Horses in Greenwich Market will be showing a screening of the entire coronation ceremony along with quintessentially British snacks including a specially crafted coronation chicken scotch egg.

The Old Brewery

On Friday, May 5, from 5pm, The Old Brewery will be hosting an evening of live music featuring a string quartet where you will be able to enjoy food and drink to get the long weekend started.

On Monday, May 8, at 2pm the pub will be having live performances featuring an acoustic guitar singer.

The Oystercatcher

On May 6, from 11am to 4pm the Oystercatcher will be hosting a bottomless brunch served with unlimited prosecco, bellini’s or Pimms.

Guests can either pay £38 for a two-course brunch of £42 for a three-course brunch booking a two-hour slot.

They will be offering a range of bunch options including buttermilk waffles or their brunch burger with smoked bacon and spiced sausage.

The pub will also be screening the coronation of King Charles on the day to.

The Cutty Sark

The Cutty Sark pub will be hosting two days of food and live entertainment for punters.

On Sunday, May 7, the pub will be offering a “King’s roast” and on the Monday punters can enjoy an afternoon of sounds played by a brass band.

The Gate Clock

The pub will be screening the Coronation on Saturday, May 6 and will also be opening for an extra hour on Sunday for its customers.

Richard The First

On Monday, May 8, the Richard The First pub will be hosting a Bank Holiday garden party featuring performances from the South London Jazz Orchestra.

Booking in advance is advised to secure a table.

Spanish Galleon

The Spanish Galleon will be decorated specially for the Coronation and will be offering speciality cocktails along with music on the juke box and live music on the Sunday.

The Pelton Arms will be screening the coronation of King Charles from 11am on May 6 along with a lineup of music acts every day from May 5 – May 8.
