Mourners have gathered in Canterbury for the funeral of 'amazing' Greenhithe man, Patrick Lamb.

A funeral service was held for the 28-year-old, who lived in London Road, at Barham Crematorium at 2pm today.

The broadcast engineer's final send off was attended by close friends and family and those involved in the search for the young man, who went missing during a night out with friends in Maidstone on December 13.

Tragically, Mr Lamb's body was discovered at Cuxton Marina on January 10.

The Lamb family and Patrick's girlfriend, Natasha Morgan, spent four weeks scouring Kent for Mr Lamb in a high profile search.

Following the discovery of his body Mr Lamb's sister, Zoe, 20, paid tribute to "the most selfless and kindest person."

An inquest into his death was opened at Archbishop’s Palace, in Mill Street, Maidstone, on January 19 and adjourned until April 1.

The cause of Mr Lamb's death was recorded as immersion.
