A violent criminal has shown a shocking lack of remorse for crashing a car into a bus full of people while drunk and for attacking two other women.

Last week our Great British Chav Off article put the spotlight on two families who we’d previously reported on, the common thread linking them being how their different kinds of behaviour had been branded awful and disgusting by readers. A poll in the article asked people fed-up with the kind of conduct we’d written about to vote for the worst of the two examples.

Cheryl Prudham, a mum-of-11 from Gravesend whose family rake in a reported £40,000 in benefits a year and who posted video of a foul-mouthed tirade online showing a reporter being chased down the street and having his car attacked, yesterday hit back at claims of her and her husband being ‘chavs’, ‘benefit scroungers’ or ‘rough’.

Today it’s the turn of Louise Sonnex to have a say on behalf of her and her family having been dubbed ‘scum’ and ‘lowlife’ in our reader comments following her most recent offences. We think you’ll be stunned by what she says.

Setting the scene

In November, Louise Sonnex from Deptford admitted driving a car into a double-decker bus full of passengers while drunk. She's currently awaiting sentencing for that.

The 41-year-old mother has previous convictions for glassing a woman while screaming "I'm going to open her up like a can of beans" and attacking another woman with a golf club.

Other members of the Sonnex family are notorious crooks. One brother Dano is serving life for a gruesome double murder and another brother Bernard is a convicted burglar with an extensive criminal past.

Louise Sonnex’s response

(Note: This has been copied word-for-word except for censoring of swearing and removing a defamatory comment about a victim)

Well I've got something to say now would I honestly be in this paper if I did not have my family name probably not, yes I got drunk yes I hit a bus glad I never hurt anyone, but I'm branded some animal, ok ur all entitled to ur opinions, driving a car whilst drunk apparently makes me an old strumpet lol ok?

Well as for my kids one goes uni and ones very dedicated to his football so comments of how my children will grow up....... U couldn't be further from the truth, yeah I've got a criminal record for violence but if u lived where I lived, dealt with the things I've dealt with in life or some of the a***hole pple in these areas, seriously u would probably have one too and yes I've paid taxes in my life, I've worked for royal mail had pretty good jobs in the past

for one my victims ain't no angels so ask urself why I ended up with a criminal record after the age of 31, pple wanna attack me, get attacked back self defence and well as for my dad's girlfriend as the newsshopper like to say nah (libellous comment removed) deserved the beating she got and ain't sorry one bit to either party done my my time on both occasions, but we'll probation are s**t show me the rehabilitation, so until u walk a mile in my shoes, and pple with criminal convictions know what ur talking about

yes I would defend my family like anyone else, there's worst out here kiddie fiddlers, rapists!!!!! paedophile rings now they are animals but get new identitys to come out and strike again!!!!!!!! I only attack when being attacked don't care for your dramatised story's like i walk the st looking for someone to attack........ Seriously sort it out.......

It's becoming boring must have more important story's out there than mine and the prudhams......... Bout time u stopped preying on families and get yourself a real story news shopper

News Shopper:

And there’s more

Louise has followed up her initial response with a series of further expletive-ridden comments on Facebook attacking News Shopper or anyone else who innocently criticises her.

Here is one such gem: “now f*** off bunch of Billy biro b******s simple like i really give a s**t what u print it's all s**t anyway....... I'm laughing f*** off hide behind ur keyboard do what ur good at........ F*** RITE OFF”

She has also said our reporter had “s**t shoes” on when he last reported on her in court. It’s good to know something as trivial as someone’s dress sense didn’t distract her from the important legal proceedings against her.

What do you think after reading Louise Sonnex’s response? Do you think we were right to ask if hers is the vilest family in Britain and whether people would want to live near her? Add your comments below.
