I'm sure when you wake up on easter sunday you rush down stairs to your living room and gift out those delicious chocolate eggs. I know I am guilty of this as well but are we thinking about the right thing?
Originally easter was about the celebration of the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Typically celebrated by Christians. Many people argue that you should go to church on the morning and spend the day with your family. But in reality do we follow through with this?
In the Uk the typical family of four recieves 6-10 easter eggs on this public holiday. Now im not saying we should ban the production of easter eggs as I'm sure we can all agree they are a nice treat to wake up to, but when you wake up on eatser sunday think about the real reason you have time off school and the real reason we celebrate that holiday. And why you recieve chocolate eggs.
