The Rated Legend Show took place on the 2nd March in the 02 Academy Brixton in memory of late rapper Cadet - real name Blaine Cameron Johnson - on what would have been his 29th birthday. Fans, family and friends of the late artist filled the arena to pay tribute to his legacy.

The late rapper Cadet passed away in a car crash on the way to a gig on the 9th February. The night honoured and celebrated the life of the "underrated" rapper and featured over 25 surprise, live acts, some of which included NSG, Dave, Ramz, Hardy Caprio and Krept and Konan.

The event was organised by Cadet's cousin Krept, real name Casyo Johnson, who explained how "All proceeds, literally every penny, will be donated to build something chosen by the supporters in Cadet's name for the community ... This was a request from his mother to do something for the community."

Charlie Sloth opened the event and greeted the crowd while premiering Cadet's unreleased, new track "Gang Gang" adding how the political visuals had been developed and directed by Cadet himself.

Brit Award winner Stormzy provided a heartfelt rendition of "Blinded By Your Grace" accompanied by soulful backing vocalists, while Krept and Konan honoured Cadet by performing tracks such as their remix of "Air Force" accompanied by DigDat and K-Trap and thanked fans for their attendance.

The show was closed with the crowd at the sold-out venue breaking into a moving and improptu chorus of "Happy Birthday" after Krept brought his family on stage and Cadet's mother was presented with a silver plaque for his track "Advice" featuring Deno. The singing was followed by the chanting of the late rapper's name to which his friends and family responded how they were "humbled by the support because he [Cadet] rarely believed that people would come out for him." after he was always known as the "underrated legend".

All proceeds from The Rated Legend Show will be donated to a charitable cause which will be chosen by Cadet's fans. The link to donate any money towards this can be found at:
