Erik Gerstenmaier was enjoying a family holiday with his wife and 9-month-old baby when they received the news that their cat, Taco, had reportedly gone missing from Oakley Hotel for Cats between October 2nd and 3rd.
The family have tried to stay positive but still feel regret and anger. Taco was very special to everyone, as they adopted him and his brother from a rescue center after losing their previous cat. The cattery has said that Taco managed to push through the wires and escape, saying that nothing like this has happened in over a decade.

Taco was wearing a red reflective collar and a silver tag when he went missing. He has short, jet black hair and is slender. The family are offering a reward for his safe return.
