Andros Townsend and Jeffrey Schlupp have added to Crystal Palace’s injury woes.

The duo will miss Palace’s game against Burnley on Saturday and are expected to be out for the foreseeable future.

Townsend injured his ankle and left in a protective boot, while Schlupp picked up a knee problem and left on crutches in the FA Cup defeat to Brighton on Monday.

They have joined Mamadou Sakho, Scott Dann, Joel Ward, Jason Puncheon and Connor Wickham on the sidelines.

Townsend and Schlupp’s injuries open the door for Patrick van Aanholt and Bakary Sako to step up.

Palace have lost just once in 11 league games.
