Crystal Palace are chasing Leicester striker Islam Slimani, according to reports.
Slimani has found first-team opportunities hard to come by since joining the Foxes for a club-record fee of £29m last year.
He has started just one league game this season and is behind Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho and Shinji Okazaki in the pecking order.
Palace have been playing Wilfried Zaha as a makeshift number nine because of serious injuries to strikers Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham.
And Algerian publication Le Buteur says the Eagles could turn to Slimani to solve their striker crisis.
Before making the big-money move to Leicester, Slimani was scoring for fun at Sporting Lisbon. He netted 48 goals in 82 league games.
And if the Algeria international was to make the move to Selhurst Park in January, he could rediscover his red-hot form with more guaranteed playing time.
