TONY Durey was the first Dartford Harrier to cross the line at latest Kent fitness league fixture at Avery Hill College in Eltham.

Durey placed 14th overall in a field of more than 300 runners on the flat parkland course on January 2.

Other Harriers results: Des Adkinson 39th, Greg Hills 77th, Steve Hickmott 85th, Dave Kitcher 100th, Frank Hudson 120th, Steph Wood 213th, Steph Toghill 223rd, Paul Hills 292nd, Steve Henson 329th and Gill Skellon 346th.

Wilmington Boys Grammar School was the venue on Saturday for the Kent cross country championships.

Thirty Dartford Harriers athletes joined the large field of club runners from all over the county.

Results: U13 girls: Holly Page 11th, Chloe Sharp 27th, Rebecca Daly 31st, Jasmine Anderson 36th - team 4th.

U15 girls: Hannah Pitts 29th.

U17 women: Casey Porritt 14th, Cassie Benson 17th, Rebecca Wilby 19th, Zoe Lloyd 20th- team 3rd- bronze medal.

Senior women: Cara Oliver 14th, Ruth Nunn 17th, Steph Toghill 34th, Jessica Dando 55th, Steph Wood 60th.

U13 boys: Jamie Green 33rd.

U15 boys: Callum Ward 22nd, Levi Taylor 31st, Luke Saheed 40th, Dylan Adkinson 43rd- team 5th.

U17 men: Tim Dowling 20th, Alex Cameron 29th, Conner Campbell 39th.
