Saracens Rugby Club will be spending two days during the forthcoming half-term school holidays training at Blackheath’s Well Hall ground in Eltham.

As part of an initiative to forge links with “Partner Clubs” throughout south-east London and Kent, the Premiership side will be training on Blackheath’s all weather playing surface, as well as holding a rugby skills clinic for 7-16-year-old boys and girls across the area.

“Saracens will arrive on Monday 25th October and spend two full days with us at Club at Well Hall,” explained the Club director of rugby Steve Pope, who has been instrumental in organising the event for Blackheath.

“They will run four coaching sessions for the youngsters over the two days.

“On Tuesday they will have a full training session on the all weather pitch followed by a Q&A forum which will be open to all.”

“As well as providing the highest level of tuition to the kids, it will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come and watch some of the best players in the world being put through their paces in training.

“Then they can mingle with the likes of Andy Saull, David Strettle and Alex Goode, chatting and collecting autographs.”

The Saracens training session and Q&A, at Blackheath’s Club at Well Hall Ground at Kidkrook Lane, Eltham on Tuesday 26th October is open to all.

Entry is free of charge and food and refreshments will be available.
