LEWISHAM-BASED Kent Athletic Club's track & field B-team got off to a bright start in the Southern League, Division Two.
After the second fixture of the campaign, with 25 teams to compete against, they are lying seventh.
Highlights included team records in the 100m and 200m set by Jeffrey Lawal-Balagun and Alan Porter in the javelin.
Joe Appiah equalled the 110m hurdles record.
On his debut Leon George finished first in the triple jump and second in both the 100m and long jump during the meeting in Brighton.
Team manager Rob Moye said: "Hopefully we're in for a glorious season."
