AN URBAN Gorilla is inviting youngsters to take up the challenge of jusutsu.
Purple belt teacher Adam Edwards returned from the Urban Gorillas Competition in Sheffield with a silver medal.
The 22-year-old from Essex runs a Brazilian jusutsu class out of the Keddle's Gym in Orpington and he is hoping to entice martial arts stars of the future on the back of a remarkable performance in the land of steel.
More than 20 competitors were competing alongside Adam in the openweight divisionof the Urban Gorilla competition.
This may not sound too bad but the carte blanche on weight meant Adam, a mere 65 kilos, was taking on and beating opponents double his weight.
In one of his five bouts he beat a man weighing in at 110 kilos.
The jusutsu star has just returned from Brazil where he underwent extensive training which he wants to pass on.
