BROMLEY Performance Centre, a joint venture between two badminton Orpington Juniors and Park Langley Badminton Clubs, recently hosted a training session led by two current England internationals.

The special sessions were arranged as a treat for those young players who have been training in the various performance centre squads.

Young players, previously identified as showing particular early talent, motivation and desire to progress, have been receiving extra coaching since being invited to join and train in either the raw or developing performance squads.

The junior players really enjoyed the training session, practicing their range of shots and enjoying fun and games with Matt Honey and Dean George.

As one parent said: “How many times does an opportunity like this arise to have the chance to do a training session with current England players?”
