BICKLEY snooker star Katie Henrick’s bid to regain the women’s East Anglian championship was ended by the formidable Reanne Evans at Cambridge Snooker Centre.
Five-time world champion Evans eased to a 3-0 semi-final victory, her 45th straight win on the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association circuit.
Henrick, who won the title in 2007, said: “I really didn’t play well against Reanne, so I’m very disappointed. My safety really let me down.”
The 29-year-old world number four disposed of Hampshire’s Suzie Opacic 3-1 with breaks of 36 and 31 in the quarter-finals.
Henrick, resident professional at the Royal Automobile Club in London, has at least reached the last four in all 10 WLBSA tournaments since the 2008 world championship.
