Green Street Green schoolboy Michael Bond swam brilliantly to win the Kent Schools' Swimming Association 50 metres butterfly final at Gillingham, on Saturday.
As the fastest qualifier, he then led the final from the start to come home a clear winner and his reward will now be to represent Kent against Surrey on Friday.
Michael then teamed up with Sam Simpson, Ben Cove and Tom Claridge in the medley relay where they gained fourth place in a very exciting final, missing out on the bronze medal by inches.
Sam also narrowly missed the final six in the 50 metres breaststroke, as did Georgina Frost in the 50 metres backstroke.
