The South London & Kent Pool Alliance summer team season culminated in the Tier Two play off, between Glenmore Arms A and Plumstead Radical Club Rebels, to see who takes the final promotion place in to the Elite League.

Dean Geary-Parr and Alex Thompson got the Glenmore off to a great start by winning the first two frames against former Glenmore player Paul Rowlinson and Steve Dixon.

Elliot Giles pulled one back for the Rebels, by beating Greg Phillimore but Dean Coppen reinstated the two frame gap with a victory over stand in skipper, Tony Stork.

The last frame of the set went to the Rebels after Leighton Aston beat the in form Tony Stevens.

Glenmore went in to the second set with a narrow 3-2 lead, which Thompson and Coppen extended to 5-2, with the first two frames of the set.

Paul Thomas and James Grant were brought in by the Glenmore for the second set and they didn't disappoint, with wins over Giles and Paul Doherty respectively.

Geary-Parr ensured the match didn't go in to a third set with a victory over Aston to propel Glenmore in to the Elite League with an 8-2 triumph.

Congratulations to Glenmore Arms A, who join Falconwood Club and Royal Oak Addicks in gaining promotion to the Elite League.
