Gravesend Cycling Club members have been in successful early season action.
Steve Gibson rode two fourth category races at Cyclopark, in the first finishing in the main field and in the second placing ninth and collecting his first points.
David Evans also rode in both events and finished with the main group of riders.
He also rode an event at Brighton where he too finished ninth.
Evans, Leon Gower and Andrew Webster rode at the Fowlmead circuit near Deal.
Gower did much of the work at the front for most of the race but lost position in the closing lap when Evans tried to chase down the leader with Webster on his wheel.
Webster finally made a sprint for the line and claimed second with Evans eighth.
Gower finished in the main group.
The Evening Club 10-mile time trial series has started at Grain.
Race one was a very windy one with Kevin Gleadow leading the Gravesend riders home in 27m47s, followed by James Smith (28m49s), Evans (29m08s) and Keith Ward (30m40s).
Mike Coulter rode the KCA 25-mile race at Chilham recording 1hr06m19s, again in very windy conditions.
