Cray Wanderers defeated Horsham 3-1 to secure a finishing place of ninth in their third season of Ryman Premier League football.
Cray also finished ninth last season, and they have now had two consecutive seasons of coming close to reaching the promotion play-offs.
Michael Power netted twice inside the first ten minutes to set up a comfortable victory against relegated Horsham after the rain-soaked pitch survived an early inspection.
The visiting 'keeper kept the score down with good saves from Tommy Whitnell, Tony Dolby and Danny Phillips.
Dolby added Cray's third goal in the 88th minute before Wayne Clark struck a consolation goal for the visitors.
Cray: Walker, Long, Willy, Stavrinou, Vines, Sterling (Young 82), Whitnell (Perkins 72), Power (Lozano 72), Dolby, Phillips, Clark. Subs not used: Darvill, Hall.
Cray supporters have voted Tyrone Sterling their Player of the Year for 2011-12 after the popular left-sided defender starred in central defence throughout the season.
