LAST season's FA Vase third round tie against King’s Lynn Town at Eden Park Avenue has whetted Beckenham Town’s appetite for more of the same ahead of this weekend’s first round trip to Three Bridges.

King’s Lynn went on to reach the semi-final and Becks boss Jason Huntley recalled: “It really was a great occasion.

“We have been lucky enough to stage some high profile games in the last few seasons.

“Crystal Palace's visit in the Surrey Senior Cup attracted more than 600 and who can forget AFC Wimbledon game last season? “But, being the FA Vase, the King’s Lynn game was different.

“The snow meant we had a three-week delay before we could play the game but that simply added to the build-up.

“On Saturday when we face Sussex League side Three Bridges in the first round of the competition I'll be reminding the lads we definitely want to be in Monday's draw.”
