A NEW football team are appealing for Sidcup residents to get behind them this season.
Seven Acre & Sidcup FC will be competing in the new Kent Invicta League this season and have big plans to climb the divisions.
Later this month they will be holding an open day at the Conservative Club, where the first team will take on VCD Athletic before the reserves meet Bexley Borough FC.
The open day takes place on July 31, with the VCD match starting at 10.45am and the reserves’ game kicking off at 2.15pm.
As well as plenty of action on the pitch there will also be a bouncy castle, a raffle, a barbeque and other entertaining games.
