DEFENDER James Dudgeon scored the winner against Gravesend as York maintained their play-off push with a sixth successive victory.
Dudgeon rose highest to head home his sixth goal of the season from Darren Dunning's corner.
Gravesend had the better of the second half with Mark Rawle forcing keeper Chris Porter into a point-blank save but they could not get the breakthrough.
