TOMMY Vine hit a treble as Viewpoint Reserves edged out Premier Division Craggs Farm 5-4 in the League Cup A quarter-finals.

In a game which finished 3-3 after 90 minutes and went to extra-time, Viewpoint’s other goals came from Owen Turner and Sean Harris.

Craggs Farm more than played their part in an epic clash, staying in contention throughout thanks to Aaron Frain, Joe Brady and Elijah Eastwood (2).

Viewpoint’s first team also booked a semi spot after a 3-1 success at Millers Cottage, with Dave Goodwin matching Vine’s effort by grabbing all three of his side’s goals.

NK Aces are also through after a 5-2 success at Stone C & I.

Luke Taylor and Shiri Necchi (pen) were on target for the hosts, with Andrea Shiri-Necchi (pen), Kevin Gibbons, Nathan Taylor and Oli Ahmed delivering the goods for the visitors.

Lullingstone Castle’s Ryan Orpwood was in top form in their away game to Fleetdown United B, scoring four goals in his side’s 5-1 win over Fleetdown.

Danny Sheppard got the fifth, but the battling Fleetdown team never gave up against their Premier Division opponents as Chris Cantone hit a consolation.

In the Everden Cup Group A, Ash Green played hosts to the Meopham Reserves at New Ash Green and they held a 3-0 lead at the break thanks to Harpreet Hundal, Scott Chapman and Keir Wilson.

Meopham made a great effort to get back in the game and had Mike Freeman to thank for being solid in defence and Wayne Dodd for scoring, but the game ended in favour of Ash Green 3-1.

Horton Kirby and Joydens Wood were involved in a nine-goal thriller at Westminster Fields.

Joydens held a 1-0 lead at half time through Michael Scates, but in an end-to-end game, the scoring came thick and fast with first one side taking the lead then the other getting back in it.

In the end, it was Horton Kirby who came out on top 5- 4, Joe Aldred (2),Colin Markham, Dan Law and Neil Doogias scoring for Kirby, with Scott Bowden, Rob Ellis and Sam Crowley responding for Joydens Wood.

Top of the Group B division are Real Man of Kent who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kent Celts at Thong Lane.

Lee Brown had put Real Man of Kent 1-0 ahead at the break but Kent Celts did well to grab a point with a Richard McNamara equaliser in the second half.

AZ 82 find themselves in second spot following their 6-2 win at home to YMCA Dartford.

AZ’s scorers were Billy French (2), Ryan Green (3) and Matt Lacey, while Chris Henry hit both for YMCA.

Division One side Bean were at home to NK Reserves and held a 3-0 lead at the end of the first 45 minutes with goals from Craig Deamer, Josh Williams and Chris Golden.

Aces were reduced to nine men when they had two sent off but they kept out Bean and also scored a consolation goal through Terry Woolen for a final score of 3-1.

Sam Potterton (4) and Kirk Mitten helped The Rising Eagles beat Culverstone United 5-3 at Kings Farm, with Danny Coughlin and Ross Fegan both keeping Culverstone in the game.

Fleetway Printers entertained Oakfield at Thong Lane in Division Two and the hosts took the lead in the 43rd minute with a Dave Dell goal.

But Oakfield upped the pace in the second half and scored two goals from Steve Walborn and Ashley Ling to take the lead.

With Oakfield on the attack, Fleetway keeper Freddie Money kept them out with a sparkling display of shot- stopping and with no further goals coming, Oakfield won 2-1.
