Isthmian League side Greenwich Borough have signed defender Mark Phillips following his released from Ebbsfleet United, the club has announced.
Phillips, 34, was released from Ebbsfleet despite helping the club clinch promotion after defeating Chelmsford City in the playoff final last season.
Greenwich Borough has become his eighth club for him in a 17-year career that first began with Millwall before enjoying stints at Brentford and AFC Wimbledon.
Manager Gary Alexander was said to be ‘delighted’ to have brought Phillips to Badger Sports Ground, particularly since the two have played in the same team before.
“[He] brings in experience which will help the young players at the club,” he added.
