Norwich City youngster Ebou Adams admits he found it difficult to adjust to life at the Championship club following his move from Dartford.
Adams, 20, joined the Canaries in January on an 18-month deal and initially linked up with the club’s development squad.
The midfielder returned to Princes Park on Saturday in Norwich’s 2-0 win over Dartford and said after the match: “It was very special to be back against the lads and I could not believe that it actually happened.
“I enjoyed it and I thought it was a real test.
“For the first couple of months, I was not too used to it. Every training session, I was going home tired.
“But after the few two weeks, I felt that I was becoming more and more of an athlete, more powerful and stronger.”
