Millwall ended their six-game winless run after beating Sheffield United 3-1 at the Den.

Lee Gregory gave the Lions an early lead before David Brooks equalised just before the break.

But second-half goals from Mahlon Romeo and Jake Cooper moved Neil Harris’ men six points clear of danger.

Here is how News Shopper rated Millwall’s players…

Jordan Archer - 6 - Didn't have a lot to do. Claimed his crosses with ease.

Mahlon Romeo - 8 - He excelled in his first league start of the season and kept his composure to net the second goal. He was watching the ball rather than the man for Sheffield United’s equaliser, though.

Shaun Hutchinson - 6 - Fresh after signing a new Millwall deal, the former Fulham man was a steady presence at the back.

Jake Cooper - 7 - Contained the Championship’s most in-form striker Leon Clarke. His powerful header killed off the game late on.

James Meredith - 7 - Offered a good attacking threat and defended well.

Jed Wallace - 7 - Back from his three-match ban, Wallace had a quiet game by his high standards, but still looked lively at times.

Ryan Tunnicliffe - 6 - Protected the back four while Saville advanced further forward.

George Saville - 7 - He was the link between Millwall’s midfield and frontline. He continues to impress.

Shane Ferguson - 6 - Did his defensive duties admirably but failed to offer any kind of attacking threat.

Steve Morison - 7 - Clever pass to find Gregory for the opener - and has definitely done enough to keep his place against Aston Villa.

Lee Gregory - 9 - Ended a run of eight games without a goal after giving Millwall an early advantage. His determination and effort to win the ball back and slide Romeo through on goal played a huge part in the Lions taking a crucial 2-1 lead. Man of the match.
