Karl Robinson believes his returning Charlton players will be as important as any possible signings in January.
Ben Reeves and Mark Marshall, who have missed most of the season through injury, starred in the Addicks’ 3-1 win over Truro City in the FA Cup on Sunday.
And defenders Harry Lennon, Jason Pearce and Lewis Page are making significant progress to return to the first-team set-up.
Charlton boss Robinson, whose side are now unbeaten in nine games, said: “People talk about what we’re going to do in January.
“The thing is what are we going to do in January?
“You look at these players we've got coming back - they’re just as important as anything we can do.
“I don't think many people could sign better players at this level than Ben Reeves and Mark Marshall in January.
“We’ve not had them all season. So we’re very, very happy and we look a lot stronger with them.”

Reeves scored twice while Marshall netted his first goal for the club as Charlton secured their spot in the second-round of the FA Cup.
The pair also started and played 69 minutes against Fulham Under-21s last Wednesday as they continue to build-up their fitness.
Robinson is adamant more is to come from his two attacking midfielders.
He added: “The pleasing thing is the two players we’ve been waiting for all season have scored three goals between them.
“It just shows the importance of these players being in the team.
“Reevesy has started four, scored four and that’s a left foot in the box, a right foot in the box so he scores a varied amount of goals. It’s great having these two players back.
“Marshy is still a little way off by his standards from when you saw him in the League One play-off final.
“Reevesy is still a little bit behind from his levels. These games will do them the world of good. Reevesy is probably 85 per cent, Marshy is probably 75, 80 per cent.”
