A barber, window fitter and carpenter are aiming to knock Charlton out of the FA Cup on Sunday.

News Shopper spoke to Truro City manager Lee Hodges who revealed the jobs his part-timers do when they’re not on the football pitch.

Hodges, whose side are sixth in the National League South, said: “The amount of time we spend over the course of a season on the coach, you get to know each other very well.

“It is a close-knit group because we have to travel two-and-a-half hours for our local derby. Every away game is a long trip. The boys all seem to get along at the back of the bus.”
