JOHNNIE Jackson has been shortlisted for the League One player of the year award.
The Charlton skipper will be up against Jordan Rhodes of Huddersfield Town and Ched Evans of Sheffield United for the honour.
Following a loan move from Notts County, Jackson moved to Charlton permanently in July 2010.
He has become an integral player at The Valley and has been in free-scoring form this season with the versatile midfielder’s goals helping Charlton in their push for promotion back to the Championship.
The shortlist was produced after managers from every League One club were asked to submit their top five players for the award, excluding players from their own clubs.
Jackson will discover if he has won on March 11 at a gala ceremony at The Brewery in London.
