TONY Craig is set to remain at Millwall.

The academy graduate recently returned from a loan spell at League One Leyton Orient and has featured in the Lions’ last two league games, winning over Lions boss Kenny Jackett with his displays.

Jackett said: “At the moment he’s staying, he’s in the side so he won’t be leaving us.

“He’s done well since having a break out of the club and some match action at Leyton Orient was good for him.

“Tony played against two very good wingers in Wilfried Zaha and Albert Adomah in the last two games and did well.”

Craig’s spell at Orient came at the same time the Lions were being linked with a move for the O’s star winger George Porter.

Millwall were rumoured to have been trying to strike a deal with Orient, which would have seen Craig join the east Londoners in a part exchange move.

However, Jackett dismissed claims the Lions were considering a swoop for former Cray Wanderers youngster Porter.

“There’s not any truth in that,” the Millwall manager told News Shopper.

Jackett also denied striker Josh McQuoid was likely to leave in the January window.

He added: “I haven’t had any calls from any managers about Josh.

“We’ll see what happens in January but there haven’t been any enquiries for any of my players at the moment.”
