GOALKEEPER John Sullivan will remain at The Valley until the end of the season after his loan from Millwall was extended last Friday.

The custodian made his second Addicks appearance in Saturday’s defeat to Huddersfield Town.

ADDICKS striker Bradley Wright-Phillips was named in the Professional Footballers’ Association League One team of the year on Sunday night.

Wright-Phillips has netted 22 times this season for the Addicks and Plymouth Argyle.

The best XI of 2010/11, as voted for by players, also includes eight players from champions Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.

PREMIER League hopefuls Reading will provide friendly opposition at The Valley this summer after the Addicks announced a series of pre-season dates.

Charlton will take on the Royals at home on July 26 (7.45pm) and will also play away at Aldershot Town on July 20 (7.45pm) and Woking on July 23 (3pm).

Pre-season will start at Welling United’s Park View Road on July 9 (3pm), adding to the already announced date at Millwall on July 30 (3pm).

TICKETS are currently on general sale for Charlton’s away matches against Bristol Rovers on Saturday and Walsall on April 30, plus the home game against Rochdale on Easter Monday (all 3pm).

Home tickets are priced £17.50, £22.50 and £25.50 adults, £13 and £17.50 over 60s and U21s and £5 all U18s.

THE club’s last fixture of the season against Hartlepool United on May 7 has been designated Young Addicks Day and will be a special occasion for young supporters.

Charlton have reduced the price of U18 tickets to just £1 when bought with an adult or over 60 seat and an entertainment programme is being planned.

VOTING for this year’s Charlton player of the year award began last weekend and fans will have a further opportunity to make their pick before the match against Rochdale on Easter Monday.

Tickets for the awards evening, which takes place at The Valley on May 1, are on sale from the Valley commercial centre on 0871 226 1905 and admission, which includes a hot meal, is £25.

In addition to the awards and speeches, there will be a raffle and disco with the entire Charlton first-team squad and management in attendance.

TWO Addicks starlets have been named in England youth squads for forthcoming tournaments.

Defender Jordan Cousins will feature in next month’s U17 European Championships in Serbia and will take on France, Denmark and hosts Serbia in the group stages, while midfielder Diego Poyet is in the England U16 squad for the annual international Montaigu Tournament, which gets under way in France today (Wednesday).

England will play Uruguay, United Arab Emirates and Ivory Coast (April 23rd), plus a fourth match to determine their final placing.

WITH the seats of existing season-ticket holders now being held until June 30, Addicks fans have plenty of time to secure their place at The Valley next term.

2011/12 season tickets are now back on sale, with adult, over 60 and U21 prices having risen by either £25 or £15, depending on the level by which they were discounted from the 2010/11 rates.

JOSE Semedo led Charlton out for Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town.

FANS planning to attend the Easter Monday match between Charlton and Rochdale at The Valley (3pm) are being warned that the southbound lanes of the Blackwall Tunnel will be closed throughout the holiday period.

The tunnel will shut from 9pm tomorrow (Thursday) to 5am on Tuesday.

During this period, the Blackwall Tunnel will carry only northbound traffic, while the Rotherhithe Tunnel will operate two lanes in the southbound direction only.

But a two-boat Woolwich Ferry service will operate on Easter Monday.

GOALS from Charley Clifford and Fliss Gibbons extended the lead of the Charlton women’s team at the top of the Premier League Southern Division after a 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

The Addicks lead second-placed Portsmouth by two points with three matches remaining, but five teams could still lift the title.

Charlton are next in action on Easter Sunday against Cardiff City at Thamesmead Town’s Bayliss Avenue (2pm).

THE Valley commercial centre and Superstore will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but will operate normal hours on the intervening Easter Saturday.

The club will also open from 10am as usual on Easter Monday, when the Addicks entertain Rochdale at The Valley (3pm).

THERE are only six week to go until this summer’s Celebrity Soccer Six football tournament at The Valley on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30, and tickets remain on sale.
