Ipswich Town 1 v 1 Millwall
Coca-Cola Championship
DAVE Tuttle praised his battling Lions after Dave Livermore's 85th-minute leveller secured a valuable point at Ipswich Town.
He told the club's official website: "In the first 10 minutes Ipswich absolutely battered us, they were all over us and they scored.
"I had a chat with the lads while the game was going on but they turned it around and got the point we deserved."
He added: "On another day we would have got all three."
Millwall are two points from safety with eight games remaining.
Tuttle said: "Aside from the first few minutes it was a great performance and very encouraging.
"It is important to praise the fans too because they were fantastic again and were singing right throughout the game."
He said: "It was great to score the equaliser even though at times it looked as though the goal was not going to come.
"But we kept plugging away, we were camped in their half and it was great for Livers to score another goal."
He added: "Carl Asaba also worked hard today and hopefully he will get the goal his performance deserves next Saturday against Leicester City."
Livermore rose to nod high into the roof of the net minutes before Lions' Tony Craig was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Ipswich took an early lead through teenager Owen Garvan's thunderous strike, his third goal of the season.
Millwall keeper Andy Marshall kept his side alive with fine saves from Matthew Richards and Danny Haynes
