PALACE N PROUD: The Palace matchday programme has won its second award in as many weeks after taking the Football League Programme of the Year Award at Sunday's inaugural Football League Awards incorporating FourFourTwo's Top 50 Football League Players' evening, held at The London Hilton on Park Lane. Communications Manager Terry Byfield said: "This is a tremendous achievement. To be recognised by the industry and to be voted the best throughout the league is great for everyone involved. It takes a lot of time and effort from all contributors and on behalf of the club I would like to thank all who have played their part in helping the programme win its second award in as many weeks." The Football League's top 50 players as voted for by FourFourTwo were also announced on the night and three Palace players were included: Andrew Johnson came third behind winner Phil Jagielka of Sheffield United and runner-up Steve Sidwell from Reading, while Tom Soares was 18th and Darren Ward was 33rd.

RE-VISIT PALACE'S PAST: More than 25,000 people have been to the Crystal Palace Centenary exhibition at the Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Sreet. The exhibition closes at the end of March so if you have not already been, time is rapidly running out. Those supporters who have paid a visit might consider a return trip as the exhibition continues to be updated, with the latest addition being Johnny Byrne's very first England cap. Entrance to the exhibition, which is open from Monday to Saturday between 11am and 5pm, is free. For more information or to loan an artefact to the exhibition, call Hamish or Steve on 020 8760 5768 (extension 61136).
